I was just looking at this site when you posted this. Glad they are doing this.

couple comments.

why not have the blog as part of the WoMag site? They use Joomla and blogging is built into that system.

Why does it look like www.RadioBall.net?

There seem to be all sorts of problems with the current site, ranging from the confusing organization to the lack of RSS. If I were a reporter looking to blog, as opposed to the guy responsible for the website, I would totally just grab a WordPress blog and start writing, rather than petition the webmaster for what I needed. Better to have an imperfect setup now than a perfect one never.

yeah that is the easy way to do it but from a business point of view it doesn't seem ideal. The blog has already got traffic coming in and there is no WM tie in. As a magazine owner wouldn't you want that traffic to point towards your paper? And if you did, get on your web person who can't get your site running to do it up right.

Unless WM has some plan to create a bunch of niche sites and tie them all together with advertising. That would be a novel idea. ;) But again, they should have them at their own domain.

I am not knocking them for having the blog, I think it's good. Maybe this blog will prompt WM to get the web persons stuff together.
