I have been loving the Draplin/Coudal-made FIELD NOTES notebooks. A lot like blue jeans--not especially spiffy when new, but they age great.

Am I a wack job that I actually agree wholeheartedly with what this guy is saying and often think the same thing (minus the tech speak).

I know almost nothing about fonts beyond serif vs sans serif, and I really value the font-knowledge of my friends. At least once a month I have to choose a font for some project. From my experience, choosing an appropriate font will improve a project at least 1% right out of the gate.
