weekend wrapup

Where did people go, where did people play? how was your weekend?

I didn't have any gigs other than Thursday at the Dive. I saw The Generators play at a private party on Saturday and once again, Craig Rawding proved that he is the best singer around. Troy Gonyea was playing with them too, so needless to say they sounded unbelievably good.

Sunday night I caught Sunset Strippers after bowling up a storm at AMF Auburn. They are sounding better. I really don't like the 80's hair rock stuff they are doing but the band is sounding good. Dougie from Touch Too Much is the singer.

I played at Sally O'Brien's

I played at Sally O'Brien's on Friday night, Vincent's on Saturday night and at the Liberty Elm in Providence on Sunday morning.

I had a rehearsal in Arlington on Sunday afternoon/evening with Mike MacDonald and the Widow Makers.

I had breakfast with a former student, Dan Levine (for those that know him), on Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon, I rebuild my gas grill, cut the grass and washed the cars.

Sunday night, I was tired.

dropped by the dive on fiday

dropped by the dive on fiday for the first time in like 5 years.  place is way cool.  got a vice and a dunkle and went home early.  

my entire day saturday was spent practicing for and driving to my lesson, and a few hours putting up trim at my new crib.  did nothing on sat night

played golf on sunday.  1st time this season and played awesome.

in the end it was a waste of a weekend compared to the last 15 on this neverending house project im ambarked on, but in retrospect, much needed.
