Bob Margolin and Babe Pino's BOSTON BLUES BAND REUNION !!!

Bob is a Blues guitar player and vocalist, carrying on the deep Chicago Blues style and creating original music today. From 1973-1980, he played guitar in the band of Chicago Blues legend Muddy Waters, touring worldwide and recording, and learned to play Muddys powerful music directly from him. In 1980, he started his own band. As a leader, he has recorded two albums for Powerhouse Records, three for Alligator, one for Blind Pig, and The Bob Margolin All-Star Blues Jam on Telarc Records. This album was nominated for a 2004 W.C. Handy Award for Traditional Blues Album of the Year. It features Pinetop Perkins, Hubert Sumlin, Carey Bell, Willie Big Eyes Smith, and Mookie Brill and as The Bob Margolin All-Star Band, they were nominated for a Handy Award for Blues Band of The Year in 04 as well. Also, has appeared as a guest or sideman on dozens of Blues albums. In 2008 and 2005, he won the W.C. Handy Award (now called Blues Music Award) for "Best Instrumentalist, Guitar." Touring full-time today, he works with different gangs of fine Blues musicians, including The Bob Margolin Blues Band and The Bob Margolin All-Star Blues Jam The Legends of Chicago Blues, and The Muddy Waters Reunion Band. He's also a columnist for Blues Revue magazine and a regular contributor to BluesWax online magazine. His new album, "In North Carolina," is available at cdmojo.com and Vizztone.com and at the shows. It features just Bob playing at home, rather than live or in the studio. The album is on Steady Rollin' Records label, part of the VizzTone Label Group.
