The Q - Coffeehouse in Worcester
I Stopped in and got a coffee at The Q today. It's located on Chandler and Lovell street. It has a nice setup in there, a small stage in the corner, presumably local art on the walls, Sirius radio playing the punk station, and a decent cup of dark roast coffee done with a French press. 
The hours are great too, m-w 9am - 12am and th-sat 9am-3am!
They had loads of baked goods, lots of vegan friendly stuff and various sandwiches. I didn't have any of it so I can't say it was good but it looked pretty good.

I wish something like this would materialize in Quinsig Village. There has been a lot of activity at the QVCC lately... I'd think a late night coffeehouse would go over well (given that most of the patrons don't appear to be of drinking age).

I checked this place out recently. It was a ghost town, and the barrista didn't seem too well trained. That said, it's not too bad a little room and it has a small stage equipped with a little JBL P.A. system.
You could probably fit about 20-25 people in there.

I've played here. I really enjoy the room and the employees. The owner is doing a great job. Only problem for it is the lack of foot traffic right now, because its set back off the road. The open mic is great, (run by Greg McKillop) and has already seen some big audiences in the first couple months of being open. It's got my vote.
