T&G circulation down 4% over the past year

Worcester Magazine is reporting that weekday circulation of the Telegram & Gazette is down 4% compared to this time last year. Nationally, newspaper circulation is down about 3.5%.

Considering that T&G circulation had been falling much faster than average lately, I think the news could have been worse. (My own take on the numbers.)

Although some will say that circulation is falling because Americans don't care about the news or because we're dumb, as a long-time news junkie I no longer read news off paper because the web is better in every way that matters.

I am a subscriber and will

I am a subscriber and will continue to read the T&G every day.

I never read Diane Williamson and will continue to ignore her every day.

I haven't looked at the paper

I haven't looked at the paper Telegram regularly since I was delivering in the mid 1980's I prefer the web for news and I do visit telegram.com often. For a couple years I was having the Globe delivered but I stopped then when I realized I wasn't making the time to read it and I was wasting a lot of paper.

I get the T&G and the Globe 7 days a week and I read them both daily. I really hate reading long articles online; hurts my head.

I have the Telegram delivered

I have the Telegram delivered on Saturday and Sunday - and I didn't get one on Sunday - is that what you mean by "circulation down"?
