Enjoy.

Peter Mascitelli made this short film based around the one man's search for beer and the great song "Regular" by Badfinger. The short stars Princess Freddy and many other local celebrities in local Worcester bars. Check out Pete's other videos on his YouTube page www.youtube.com/user/moepye
One of the most vivid memories of my childhood was the many summer trips to Rocky Point Amusement Park in Warwick RI.
I can close my eyes and see the Tilt-a-Whirl, hear the music coming out of tinny horn speakers at the Musik Express, smell the french fries and clam cakes near the Windjammer, and feel the Skee Ball in the arcade.
Our local cinefanatic Rob Newton has posted an open letter to Showcase Cinemas in Worcester. It's a thank you and some suggestions for their new Cin

Seeking Help from the Community
The filmmakers who brought you the locally produced "Rutland, USA" and "Freedom Park," have returned to Worcester County to begin pre-production on "We Got the Beat," a teen comedy set in 1983. Last summer, they shot "Still Green," a teen drama shot for $250,000 in Naples, Florida. As they complete post-production on "Still Green" in hopes of a Sundance Film Festival premiere, they are looking to the community for help with "We Got the Beat." Producers plan on hiring local crew and interns, as well as casting many of the roles locally.
Currently, producers are seeking office space to begin pre-production. They are looking for donated office space for a six month period, and are offering ownership in both "Still Green" as well as "We Got the Beat" to whoever comes forward to help. Please contact Producer Andrea Ajemian at 310-628-3055 if interested in helping in any way.
Duncan and myself met with MassBay Film Festival super
producer Rob Newton the other night for a bit of a brain storming session and as it turns out one of the projects he has cooking as a lead in to this falls festival is a run of Monday night movies at the world famous Ralph's Diner, in Worcester.
Admission is just $5.00, with proceeds to benefit The MassBay Film Project.
Here's a round down of some of Rob's upcoming features.

An outsider musician much like the late cult favorite, Wesley Willis, Larry "Wild Man" Fischer is known best to fans of "The Dr. Demento Show" as the creator of the weird-boy anthem, "My Name Is Larry". What a lot of folks don't know, though, is Fischer's association with the likes of the luminous Frank Zappa, who tried to introduce the highly unstable Fischer to the world in the 1970's. "One of the best documentaries of recent years, joining
