Stephen and Damian Marley at Tammany Hall Last Night

Well I have received a ton of emails and telephone calls this morning from people who heard the news that Stephen and Damian Marley (sons of Bob Marley) were at Tammany Hall last night. I just wanted to tell everyone that they were definitely in the house all night. Stephen and Damian were gracious and a just as cool as you would image. They came up after playing the Newport Folk Festival, RI. They were at Tammany to check out Black River Sound. BRS and the Marley camp have been talking for a while. The Marley Camp truly enjoys BRS's vibe and had been trying to see them perform live for quite some time. Thank you to Black River sound for inviting them and I am glad that we could be a part of this great night. Thank you for providing us with a fabulous night of music and performance. Thank you to the ProblemAddicts for getting the night going. Thank you to all of the Tammany Crowd for giving Damian and Stephen their space and just letting them enjoy themselves. Also thank you to everyone who helped. Kevin, I hope you got some sleep last night...you were the best host in town last night.

A painter paints pictures on canvas. But musicians paint their pictures on silence.

they REALLY do have awesome voices.

i saw them at the palladium upstairs like a month or two ago. besides being the worst sound i have ever experienced in the history of my life... i was impressed.

regardless. once i got upfront to get the stage volume... i realize these chicks have fucking PERFECT pitch. it was amazing. the band is solid. not totally music im into, but i was blown away by how good these girls were.
