Rush on Colbert Report tonight!
Just saw the bulletin for this. I would think this would be pretty comical. Plus, you actually get to see a live Rush performance on TV for the first time in 30 years.
Tune in tonight! Comedy Central’s ‘The Colbert Report’ will showcase a rare TV performance by Rush. The band will be performing their song ‘Tom Sawyer’. This will be the first time in thirty years that Rush will perform in front of a national television audience. ‘The Colbert Report’ airs at 11:30pm EST .
If there's a bowling reference that is slipped in there anywhere, I might just wet my pants.

I thought you meant Rush Limbaugh and thought, oh my god that would be amazing. Rush the band is amazing too though.

That was pretty awesome. The interview was beter than the performance, imo...but the tidbits during the performance were pretty funny.
This is an intervention...we're trying to pare you down to a snare and a triangle... too funny.
Still, make mention thay haven't been on national t.v. in 33 years, and then make them playa song they wrote 30 years ago...hmmm.

Yeah, I would've like to have heard any song but Tom Sawyer. It was everything else besides the actual performance that made it classic though.
When they came back from break and Stephen started going through the lyrics to By-Tor because it was on his teleprompter...that was hilarious.
