Rare Beatles music thread #17

Louie's picture

For this weeks thread I have decided to concentrate on demos. This will be the first installment of Beatles demos they either recorded themselves or gave away to other artists.

"If I Fell"
Lennon's home demo recorded late 1963.

"She Can Talk To Me/Hey Bulldog"
Another Lennon demo. Just working out the piano part and chorus.

"I'm In Love"
Lennon demo of a song given away to The Fourmost.

"Michelle"
McCartney working out the guitar parts.

"We Can Work It Out/Lucy from Littletown"
A McCartney demo that unfortunately got taped over by John doing one of his comedic bits similar to the ones we all know and love from the Christmas Messages.

"Good Morning, Good Morning"
Early '67 run through of the Sgt. Pepper classic.

"Something"
One of 3 demos that George recorded as a 26th birthday present to himself on Feb. 25th, 1969. The others "Old Brown Shoe" and "All Things Must Pass" appeared on the official "Anthology 3" in 1996.
