I just heard as well, this is sad news, I considered him a friend and I just had a drink with him last week at Vincent's. He was a great, great guy. In 1984 in one of my first bands we wanted to make a video, we had heard of Ralph's and how visually funky it was but had never played there. I somehow got in touch with Ralph and told him that my band was making a video and if we could use his club. He said to come down the following Sunday at noon, we showed up and sure enough there was Ralph who let us in. He asked us not to rob him too badly and also to lock up when we were done and then he left, that's the kind a guy he was, you will be missed sir.
I have too many Ralph stories to tell. Very sad news indeed, please update this as more info becomes available as I will certainly fly back to pay my respects.
There is a short list in my mind of nights in Worcester that were something as special as Saturday night was. I have to thank Ralph Moberly for having had a life that created such an event. Here are a few pictures I managed to take throughout the day.
I like Duncan can count on one hand nights as special as Saturday, thank you Ralph and thank you to everyone involved that let me take part in such a fun and poignant night. Eat at Ralph's and live forever!

It is always amazing when you get to be a part of something that is bigger than you. I am thankful that I got to be a part of this tribute.
