I have been listening to and loving this CBC radio special by Glenn Gould in which folks consider how recording is and will be impacting music making. Maybe a third of the claims are dated, a third have turned out to be right on, and the others are thought-provoking.

(Glenn Gould is one of my favorite musicians, up there with James Brown and the Beatles. His ideas, which he both preached and practiced, are pretty cool too.)
