One of the best places to listen to music and discover new bands online, www.pandora.com is being forced to block its site to non-US visitors. For the people that use the site internationally this must really suck but it also sucks for independant musicians who are on the site. We have had many sales from people discovering us on Pandora and they have not been in the US. Everything good about the internet gets ruined eventually.

In the US, web music is licensed under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, but to stream legally abroad, licences must be agreed with the rights holders. Pandora founder Tim Westergen said he was "deeply sorry" to non-US users."
