Soul Movement still needs a time keeper to hold down the groove. We have flute, trumpet, female vocals, keys, bass, guitar, full P.A. and rehersal space in worcester. Were writing and getting ready to record our 2nd CD and would like to fill this spot before we record. Check out the music at www.soulmovementmusic.com and Call Luke at 772-232-2516.

It might not matter, but I'm still gonna suggest you throw up this same ad at the Wormtown Trading BB (http://www.wormtown.com). It has a larger range of visitors (geographically) and you might find your missing timekeeper!

Thanks for the advice :-)

and you are familiar with our stats how? ;-)
Post it everywhere Sarah, wormtown.org wormtown.com wormtownnightlife.com networcester.com anywhere you can. Another great way to find people looking for gigs is at open mics. It's a lot harder with drummer because they rarely travel alone but you might find someone you like. Also don't be afraid to ask people already in bands if they want to jam.
There is also a musicians resource section in the Links section of this site. If you or anyone comes across a good site that has resources you like please at it to the list.

Just basing their need on the people that visit this BB versus WT's (ones that post, anyways). The WT site/BB is built around their festivals and there are already similar-sounding bands there, along with fans of similar bands.
Notice I didn't recommend WTDO? (still worth a post, but don't hold your breath IMO) ;-)
Re: Soul Drummer still needed
I know Jeremy, I am just kidding with you. Volcano Boy's traffic has never been higher than right now. Clearly the vast majority of visitors are reading the site, not posting. I don't have anything on the site that requires a registration to read.
The best thing Soul Movement can do is just get the word out.
Maybe an Ad in WoMag might reach some new people.
Hell maybe Volcano Boy can co-op the space with some people looking for musicians. Take out a big ad, share the cost, plug this website and print the ad?

I bet if they emailed Charlene at Womag that she would include it in her weekly "Cookies" segment (for free)!
