A pretty interesting band from L.A. is playing tonight (Tuesday 7/5) at the Lucky Dog. They are called 8-bit and they sample old Nintendo games for a lot of the music. Here is the Lucky Dog's description of the show tonight.

Our ol' friend Josh Latham (formerly of STICKER) moved to LA and is ploaying in a touring band now called THE MORMONS.
along with them is a GREAT NEW band that has been in BLENDER (as one of the "must have downloads" of this past month) also has worked with BECK on his new album.
They are ROBOTS that sample Ninetendo and rap about DORITOS and BEER!
