Reporting to you from the brisk AIR CONDITIONED confines of the Lucky Dog Music Hall.
Summer fever is here, but please remember as you pass the mustard that there are some exceptional shows here over the next few nights.
I'll start right away. PLEASE READ ABOUT TUESDAY'S (7/5) SHOW! IT'S GONNA BE AWESOME!!!

THURSDAY, JUNE 30th. $5 cover 8:30pm
First on is CASTINE. A great Ben Folds/Harvey Danger style pop band.
Second is MOODUS NOISE
Third is one of my favorite bands to come up through the ranks here.
They have a gothic/metal/industrial sound.
They are MARAZINE.
Last is MULLETHEAD.
If you haven't been here for a Thursday lately, you're DEFINATELY missing out.
Tons of people have been coming out to enjoy the 80's rock.

FRIDAY, JULY 1st. $6 cover 8:30pm
First on is our pal TENACIOUS LOU.
Tenacious? Yes. He will be performing a few of "the D's" hits and other great songs.
One man and a guitar.
Second is former Joe Perry Project and Thundertrain lead vocalist Mach Bell with his band
MACH 5.
Third, another Aerosmith veteran Jimmy D'Angelo and his band DEEP SIX.
And last is the all-gal-rock band JADED.
Check out their ultra-hot website at http://www.jadedrocks.com

SATURDAY, JULY 2nd. $7 cover 8:30pm
First is TESTER
Second is MALAKHI
Third is the ultimate PANTERA tribute TRENDKILL

SUNDAY, JULY 3rd. $5 cover 9:00pm
You all probably have the next day off and all, so why not pop into the wayback machine and check out DISCO HELL!
They'll be on EARLY tonight so expect a nice LONG set of funky stuff.

We're pretty sure we'll have some TRIVIA tonight too so pile some people into the smartbus early.

MONDAY JULY 4th. We will be CLOSED.

TUESDAY, JULY 5th. $5 cover 8:30pm
TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR!!!!
But if you want them in advance you can get them at all Strawberries or at www.ticketweb.com
Tonight is a really great show featuring some otherstately and even otherworldly acts.
First on is FREQUENCY NEEDS A MATE
http://www.fnam.net
http://www.myspace.com/fnam

Second is 8-BIT as seen in NINETENDO and this month's BLENDER magazine.
8-bit is a group that dresses like robots, samples Nintendo and raps.
They have been compared to Devo, The Beastie Boys, Le Tigre, & N.W.A.
8-bit has played shows with Audio Bully's, Ugly Duckling, Gravy Train,
and X-girl to name a few...

They recently worked on Beck's new album doing a remix of the song

this Castine band sounds interesting. I looked for them online but didn't find anything. I am going to try and make it down tonight.
