I've been out for awhile and just wanted to stop by and say hi to all the good folk @ Volcano Boy. We just took a road trip up to Santa Cruz, CA and it was a beautiful relief from Southern Cal. Beautiful clean air and small but fun surf. Nice to get out of town. If you every get to CA make sure you enjoy the whole coastline.

Now todays report on SoCal. Water is a brackish red tide. Yech! Smells bad and just a small bit toxic. The kids are out of school and everybody is at the beach hanging out. On the fun side our local fair, San Diego Co. Fair has started up. They actually book local bands! Fun watching the everyday folk hear music they've never heard before.
