This was to save like $30?

I used to live in an apartment right down the road from the gas station (the T&G called it a Gulf, but it's always been an Exxon as far as I know). On days when they have a mere nickel off the price of a gallon, the line would stretch for 30 or 40 cars during commute times. I can only imagine what a holy mess it is with a 2 dollar discount. No one on that side of Pleasant is going to be able to get out of their driveways without playing a frustrating game of slow-mo chicken. People are seriously possessive about their spot in line. The real fun starts when they get to the entrance/exit of the gas station and have to choose which pump to shoot for, while allowing the cars who've already filled up to leave. It's a zoo.

Actually, I think all up and down Grove Street/Park Ave it was only $3.89 too.

I'll be in Maryland tomorrow. I'm sure the prices are better there too.

i agree....hey $1.99 is a good price but I am not gonna wait an hour to save $30 or something......but i might wait an hour to save $75 or more.

the silly people are the ones that go to Wal Mart in Oxford (when they live in Worcester) to buy their gas their cuz it's 3.98 while its $4.02 at Cumbys right down the road from their house....sure, you are saving 4 cents a gallon but you are giving that savings back on the gas you spent to GET THERE.....go take an economics course, sucker.

No I emailed him Sunday in a panic when I noticed WNL was pulled off life support. He set it up yesterday. It's a little more complicated this year , we're going to be doing Individual Defensive Players in addition to offensive players.

Not sayin I'd wait in line for 2 hours, but sometimes 30 bucks is 30 bucks, ya know, if you don't have it to blow in the first place...I dunno...not real worth it to me time-wise...but I hardly fall into the carefree spending category...
