I heard that the owner of Vinny T's is going to open a banquet and conference facility in Union Station? I think it might be a good idea if done right. Union Station is gorgeous from the outside. I'm almost ashamed to say I've never been inside!
It's very nice inside. My friend and I had a photo shoot there when I was in hairdressing school. I love the outside of it but wish they would hurry up with the construction already!
After the fireworks I took a walk around the building and there's a lot going on in there. Before I moved to Maryland I was taking the commuter rail to work for close to two years. In that time there was never any changes at Union Station. The empty spaces were shells and there wasn't any signs of any activity at all in them. Now it looks like the two main spaces that have sat dormant, the top floor corner space on the Harding St side, and the 1st floor space opposite the restaurant are finally being developed. That top floor space looks like some sort of business is moving into offices as we speak. All the cubes are set up and all the furniture looks to be in. Looks like they are just missing phones, computers and workers.

Re: Union Station back in business?
ah, thanks. I kept looking in the T&G online...I really should know better by now, though.
