You get in for FREE and you'll be showered in all the free Goldschlager shots you can drink.
You'll sweat it out tomorrow.
So as I was saying above...
We started DISCO HELL about 6 years ago.
I've talked about how many crazy things have happened during that original lineup.
(Satan, Purvis Philthy McNasty, Duju Bumps and Samuel D-Lite).
Well, I got off the phone with Satan a bit ago and he brought up the best idea i've heard in a long time.
What if...we filmed a documentary around the stories we all shared throughout this time period.
For real, there was more decadence than any Motley Crue tour bus. I mean, this band had an actual toilet on stage as a punchbowl filled with "Satan's Juice" shots. They had a crazy masked character who broke TVs on stage. The club was filled with naked people and then for weeks later undercover vice cops. They'd leave and the clothes would come back off. Purvis fell asleep in the cubbyhole on the right side of the stage while the rest of them loaded out their gear and it took us an hour to locate him sleeping, curled up in a ball...but still on his feet. Satan getting pulled over on his way to the gig for speeding but thankfully "let off" because the officer couldn't possibly arrest "Satan from D-Hell". There was ALWAYS audience participation in these events.
We all have a MILLION stories. We'll take archived footage along with new footage of the original band and here's the cool part, YOU telling ALL of what you saw or was involved in.
This is REAL folks, we want the most outrageous tales of whatever the Hell it was about this band that brough out the devil in you.
Please send me an email directly at mailto:
egodin@aol.com and we'll get it going.
If this thing comes out as good as it should, there's no telling where it may go.
Get involved! This is going to be a blast!

Re: JIM CARROLL, sausages, skin and more?
I downloaded the Sinapse stuff and liked it. I get a Porcupine Tree vibe from some of it and since I have yet to see Obsidian Halo and loved Lucubro, you will see me friday night for sure.
I know What I Like And I Like What I Know
Re: JIM CARROLL, sausages, skin and more?
Barry, it's funny that when I was writing my own description of the band I used the term "progressive metal".
After I wrote it, I said to myself. "How would Barry describe them?".
or, H.W.B.D.T.
I convinced myself to just pull their own description off their website.
I actually thought you'd dig them though.

Re: JIM CARROLL, sausages, skin and more?
Quote:
I wouldn't say progressive metal. They are melodic, their singer can actually sing and not just scream(although he does scream pretty well), but what I really like was that they actually have some decent songs. The six songs on the website are well written, good lyrics, good hooks and they are well played. I hope they can pull it off live.
Re: JIM CARROLL, sausages, skin and more?
Uh, by the way, JIM FUCKING CARROLL.
Re: JIM CARROLL, sausages, skin and more?
No Barry, I wouldn't either.
I know you know your prog.
That's why I retracted my original description.
(I asked myself if Barry would call them progressive)
They DO pull it off live.
I was really impressed with them.
and
JIM FUCKING CARROLL!
