Hey guys-
The 2008 Turtle Boys are less than a week away, and the lineup is looking great.

We've got 20+ of Worcester's best bands/performers at 9 different walkable venues up and down Green Street/Kelley Square (plus Nick's).
Music starts at 6:30 with Soulstice kicking things off at the Lucky Dog, and goes until 2am. Compilation CD's will be available for donations (all money benefits Ernie Boch's "Music Drives Us") and t-shirts & guitar picks will be free.
Oh, and we're not charging a cover.
Check out the full schedule, and see you there.
looking forward to this

Look, call me all the names
Look, call me all the names you want, but at least get your criticisms right. You're on the schedule, right below the heading "Greyhound," which is where you will be playing.
Stupid Michael.

Can't wait to see everyone
Can't wait to see everyone down on the street. We should be getting decent weather, and Ernie Boch, Jr. is comin' on down to check out the scene and help us hand out awards. 24 bands, 9 bars, one street, $0. Music starts at 6:30, and goes to 2am. Tell your friends, grab your parents, and see you there.

I didn't look at the schedule
I didn't look at the schedule until now so now I need to convince myself to drag my ass out of the house.

I'm bad at reading. I didn't realize that the knees were playing. Quite frankly I didn't realize anyone was playing. The Curtain Society informed me that they were and so I went and saw them only. :(
They however played wonderfully and renewed my smit with them. Duncan can sure play the shit outta 2 drums and 2 cymbols.
Hi! :-)
thanks WoMag, specifically my
thanks WoMag, specifically my sister Charlene and Scott Zoback for putting last night together. The shows, the awards, the t-shirts and guitar picks and the CDs were all very cool.
Music in Worcester is always happening, but by having events like this seem to remind people that it's easy to park on Green Street for instance and walk around and hear some great music and have a good time.
thanks again for putting this all together.
Yeah this was awesome. I
Yeah this was awesome. I spent time at the Dog, The Dive, Creegan's, Block 5, The Vernon, Nick's and The Greyhound last night. Though the quality was varied, it was awesome to see all those people out bopping around from one place to the other.
Nick's was a little dead though, which was too bad because the 30 minutes or so that I caught of Walter the Orange Ocean was pretty top notch.
Damn, I would have loved to
Damn, I would have loved to have seen Ernie Boch Jr. I ran into a good friend of his on vacation in the Caribbean this past March.
We had a great time at The Grey Hound. The only bad thing was playing the whole night so that we couldn't check out any of the other acts, but everybody had a blast! Thank you to Worcester Magazine and all the organizers who worked so hard to put together a great night.
It's a boy Mrs. Walker, it's a boy...
How sick was last night?
How sick was last night?
Some of you have seen my email, but I just want to publicly thank everyone who had a hand in this last night---I was real proud to be a part of it.
Club owners--You guys were fantastic hosts; Bands, you guys killed it. I think collectively we did something very cool...we showed casual worcesterites (there ya go Duncan) that there's a "scene" and a "district," and showcased a lot of talent for more dedicated fans who might only get to see a band or two a month.
Thank you everyone who helped, and just as big a thanks to everyone who came out and helped us celebrate.
Y'all rock.
I'm going back to bed.
