Google Searching Worcester

Searching for Worcester on Google is a favorite pastime. Here are some results for some obvious search terms.

"Worcester Entertainment" gets you the Telegram's eWorcester website and is very accurate result for such a broad search.

For the coveted "Worcester Music" search, the top honors go to Music Worcester of course. Sure it's not the music "scene" that we have represented on this website, but they do have a lot of events going on that are worth checking out. It's one of the worst looking websites I have seen in a while but that's a topic for another day.

ahhh "Worcester Art" what do you think you get? Of course it's the Worcester Art Museum. They are worthy of this top spot as well and have a nice website to reflect this nice place. They haven't changed the design of it in many years but it's not broken, it's got everything you need to know about this place.

Now you can start getting into the more abstract searches. "Worcester Culture" sadly sends you to the land of tea and crumpets but they do have a lot of stuff happening across the pond. For the purposes of this we need to be specific so adding a "MA" to the search is necessary. Depending on your search style quotes or without quotes you get varied results. The quotes bring you here to Volcano Boy but the no-quotes sends you away to abyss of www.worcestermass.org/culture

moving on...

The websites of our amazing restaurants in Worcester are never as good as the food, so it was no surprise that the top result for "worcester restaurants" was not a restaurant but a crap repository for menus called massmenus.com. It not only doesn't have menus but it hurts my brain to look at.

There are few searches, please share your own results. "worcester sucks" brings up some great results from both Pete Caputa and Buck Paxton
