We Got The Beat 80s Kick-Off!

Do You Have the Beat?

Bands will perform three covers of early 80s hits with a modern twist! The best covers will be professionally produced and featured in the film We Got The Beat.

Music producer Kaz Gamble, of both the hip-hop group Bad Ronald and the dance-pop duo Cooler Kids fame will be apart of the selection process, as well as acting as DJ in between sets.

All proceeds will go towards the music budget of the film.

We Got The Beat is a teen comedy set in 1983 about the captain of a high school football team who quits his senior year to turn his heavy metal band into the first ever boy-band.
