On December 8th, 1980, former Beatle John Lennon was shot to death by deranged fan Mark David Chapman outside his New York City apartment. Lennon was on a creative high after releasing his first album (albeit with Yoko songs),
Thanks, Louie. I have never listened to this whole interview, though I have read it. I really hate Lennon in this interview. He contradicts himself and he is really just bitter and arrogant. I do, on the other hand, love the Playboy interview. He is very peaceful and reflects positively on his Beatles time and really gives so much more information instead using his time to cut down not only Macca, but also music in general.
Lennon was happy with her. I don't doubt her love for him either. As much as it seemed like she pulled him away from The Beatles or whatever, Lennon didn't seem to mind being pulled.
