If you were lucky, this past Saturday night you were at Block Five on Green St in Worcester MA for their soft-opening/tasting party. I unfortunately was not so lucky and spent the weekend stuck in a dirty house with 8 dirty guys drinking like fish.
Most of you have probably heard about Block 5 by now, located in the original Sir Morgans Cove, most recently known as Duke's. The place has been completely overhauled and renovated over the course of the last 8 months by three very talented, very creative, local business men. I stopped down yesterday to check in on the grand opening, set for this weekend, and thought you might like a sneak peak.
Folks, knowing these guys and knowing their business model, I can assure you the bar will be raised on local dining to a level unseen in this area. Good stuff, see you there this weekend.

Interesting decor, but I'm not going near those barstools. My back hurts just looking at them.
Re: Block 5, preview
Looks great. Seriously. But will anyone be able to afford drinking or eating there aside from the well-to-do?
