Creating Reason Grooves Tutorial

If you create electronic music and haven't had a chance to mess around with Reason, you don't know what you're missing. I have been using it for years and slowly have lost all my desire to midi up a bunch of modules and boards to get interesting sounds (ebay sale of that stuff coming soon). Not only is it a powerful software synth but when you really dig into what Dr.Rex and the NN-XT sampler can do with beats, it's nothing short of incredible. One of the hardest things to do with programming is to get good grooves with a human feel. This is often why people turn to loops of grooves that are established.

I found this tutorial and although I haven't actually done the tutorial I did read it. This guy has some really good tips on how to create grooves using Dr.Rex and he even goes as far as giving you a zip file with the samples he is using in the tutorial.

Re: Creating Reason Grooves Tutorial

Great link, Duncan. I'm hardcore hooked on Reason now as well (as you know....when I'm asking you "how do I do that?")

If you haven't tired it and you do any sort of electronic or loop-based or sequenced music, it's a pretty amazing program.
