Local Music Sucks in Louisiana
If you are ever feeling that you are unique or that you have an original idea, it is always best to visit your non-evil friends at Google. Today in my web travels, I was searching for local music sites and happened to look for the phrase "local music sucks". The results where endless pages of interesting sites with that phrase somehow in the text. One that was particularly fun to read was a message board for the Louisiana State University Tigers. Mark, a senior in High School in Kentucky writes:

I am a senior in high school and I live in Kentucky. I am debating whether or not to go to LSU this fall. My question is, are there many local bands and are there good opportunities to join a band on campus? I would like to get into a metal band down there.
The conversation that follows is nothing new, it won't change your thoughts on local music or even provide you with many laughs or funny pictures. The best reply to this potential student was probably "I am more concerned about the fact that this guy wants to base his college career around where he can get into a shitty garage band."
The trouble with local music is everywhere. Send us your best Google finds.
