Hip Hop 101 - "Return to The World As A Thought"

Greetings,

I have been involved in Hip-Hop music on many levels for the majority of my life. This is the best and most informative Hip Hop article that I have ever read. Even if you don't get all of the references It's still quite a story. ( Only Shame will be familiar with all of it.)

If you don't know that much about Hip Hop, you will know quite a bit of vital info after reading this. Info that the average kid in an oversized white T-shirt and duckbill baseball cap has no idea about. This is not at all about rims, fashion, pimpin' hoes, blunts , guns, or platinum. This is a story about a true Hip Hop artist and a tragic loss...

I apologize for not being able to find a picture of the man whom you are about to become familiar with... the legendary, Paul C.

He produced the Ultramagnetic MCs and Eric B & Rakim. He perfected techniques like the "chop" and "pan." He taught Large Professor everything he knows. And he died in 1989 at the age of 24. Paul C is the most influential producer you've never read about

Kaz....thanx for posting that. Good article. I always heard that Cee & Rud played some sort of role in Pauls death but never knew RSO was his last studio session. Makes you wonder.......cause those cats were always people that you didn't want on your bad side.

What up Shame -

Yeah, I honestly didn't know how much Paul C did.I Only remembered his pic on the Rakim record and hearing his name once or twice. It tied alot of things together for me. I don't know what happened, but RSO is always suspect.

Peace
