What the hell! He'd rather crash his car to change the subject? I feel duped.

Re: Grandaddy's secret to songwriting...

I saw the original full-length version of this on Comcast's On-Demand last year. I was like "oh cool, an interview/documentary on Grandaddy"

It was interesting, mostly just talking to Jason in the back of the minivan. It went on for a few minutes, and then got the the end that you see here and I thought it was hilarious. Was it staged? It had to be. They were sort of driving around aimlessly for the whole thing.

The funny thing was that they're all driving around drinking beer, and then the crash and you see the beer bottle, and then at the end (you don't see this part on this clip) they're deciding whether to hide the beer bottles. Someone shows up right at the end to see if they're okay.

Can't wait for the next CD.

What's crazy is that the cameraman didn't miss a beat or nuthin...just kept right on filming. What's more amazing is the insta-pop windows in the back...I wanna try that.

Not with yer caravan of course.... :-) it didn't look like Jason was wearing a seatbelt...but to be laughing like they were....had to be staged.
