Let's sick the FCC on satellite radio

People just can't help but be complete pains in the ass. Saul Levine of Mt. Wilson FM Broadcasters, Inc. is petitioning the FCC to regulate Satellite Radio the same way it regulates Terrestrial Radio. Mt. Wilson owns the classical station K-Mozart in CA, and is one of the last of the independantly owned stations in the country. Levine's petition was filed on November 5 and it asks that the FCC open a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking that would mandate that no satcaster "shall transmit any material which is obscene" and that indecent material should be prohibited between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., just as it is with terrestrial radio.

It sounds like Saul may just be to lazy to figure out a way to get more listeners to tune into Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 3 and have strippers.
