The man who murdered John Lennon is up (again) for parole.
But if Chapman is released after 24 years in prison, some Lennon fans have already threatened to take action. News of the parole hearing has spread on the internet and dozens of websites have been filling up with messages from fans around the world, many already promising to take revenge on the man who gunned down Lennon on 8 December 1980 as he arrived at his New York apartment building off Central Park.
"Take revenge" that's an understatement, that guy wouldn't last a second.
The folks at The Smoking Gun have aquired the letter that Yoko Ono has re-submitted to the parole board in charge of Mark David Chapman.

Re: Mark David Chapman on Parole?
Many people would love to see Mark David Chapman to remain in discomfortness in his cell 24/7 even if he was in the prison, many of you would make a protest to the correctional officers at Attica that he stays in his prison and not be allowed for him to have outdoor privelleges. He may have spent the past 24 years in prison but spending the time in the prison library studying law and doing housekeeping and I'm sure himself he wishes he were given the opportunity to be free again.
But even if he were free, and if should he win his parole hearing, I think for future sake, he should not be allowed to live anywhere in the United States, the United Kingdom, or even anywhere in Japan. He'll be a most threat to these countries. He'll most likely have to learn a foreign language if he were to live in that other country but should not be given full rights to remain a U.S. Citizen or become a British Citizen or a Japanese Citizen.
Yes I'm sure in Mr. Chapman's own words he would like to be given the opportunity a chance for second life but to come back to live it peacefully in the United States or the U.K. or Japan would be a disgrace and an outpour for both countries. It would be a state of fear situation for the U.K. because that was where John Lennon originally came from and to the U.S. where he died and for Japan, which is where Yoko Ono comes from and these 3 countries would only be a reluctantance to honor rights for Mr. Chapman to remain citizen to each country. Both countries would only be a threat if he were released on parole and remains in the U.S. and the U.K. and Japan.
For Mr. Chapman's sake, let his peace be regiven a second chance.

Re: Mark David Chapman on Parole?
As a Lennon fan I know Mark David Chapman's actions were horrible. John did not deserve to be killed. However, taking revenge on Chapman is not the way. He has to answer to the lord. Mark has been in prison for 26 years. He was a disturbed individual back in 1980 and has paid for it.
