You should head over to One Love Cafe on Main Street for some awesome Jamaican, mon! Been on my list of places to eat for a bit now, I just tend to always go for Vietnamese whenever I'm in the Big Woo but I hear it's pretty phenominal!

for Vietnamese I like Pho Dakao on Park Ave. The food is always cheap and good and gets to you fast, even if the decor is a little too 1980's Miami for my taste. If you like Thai, there's a pretty good one called Racha Thai in a little strip mall where Rt. 20 meets Rt. 146.
What about Indian food, anybody? Any recommendations (or places to avoid)?
For Vietnamese definitely Dalat or the Bamboo Hut for something a little different, plus Bamboo Hut has an outdoor patio which is great during the warmer months, and it's BYOB plus the owners are great, the nicest people! For Indian, India Cafe, food is great, and again the owners are really nice! Thai, Racha Thai like they said, sushi is still all about Baba, let's see any suggestions for Korean?
There used to be a place you could buy whole, frozen durian; I assume there are still others. I've never heard of anyone in Worcester selling it fresh.
I've been to the Korean place on Cambridge Street, it was my first time having Korean and it was cool (a little hole-in-the-wall kind of place). I've been meaning to go back and try some of their Bim-Bim-Bap ever since I had it at a place in Cambridge, but just haven't gotten to it.
Come meet me for lunch some day and we will go to Dalat. I love it there. Pho Dakao i great and so is Saigon on Main St. I work in the center of the best Vietnamese food in town!

Re: give me some place exotic to eat
is there Korean food in Worcester? I used to eat at Little Pusan in Maynard very often, I would love to get some in Worcester.
I googled and found New York Korean Restaurant on 118 Cambridge St.
Anyone?
Re: give me some place exotic to eat
For Indian, Udipi (sp?) in Shrewsbury is good, and will make dairy-free stuff if you ask.
All the Middle Eastern places I've eaten are good.
VegWorcester has a list of tasty veg places, many of which are ethnic:

Went to One Love for the first time last Friday evening.
an app of veggie patties
one order of Rasta Pasta
one order of Pineapple chicken
a coffee
a juice/tea
2 desserts for $32.00
everything was great
We actually tried to order something to go one night this week but nobody picked up the phone.
Re: give me some place exotic to eat
I'm gonna have to try that place on Cambridge street, is that the only Korean around?
