This Thursday the 25th
Michael Thibadeau , Scott Riccuiti and Duncan Arsenault are playing songs at The Dive Bar. We play originals by Scott and Michael and covers we pretend to have written.
the deal is this.
The Dive Bar has inordinate amounts of craft beer. They open at 6pm and there is no cover charge.
Musicians set up in the back and play music for you at 8pm
While music is played, you meet other people there, maybe you talk about Easter, you drink beer, eventually you start singing along and feeling real good.
This will go along nicely until about 1am. After that Scott, Michael and I will join you at the bar and finish off the rest of whatever drinks we can get served. Friday morning you'll feel good about having spent a night out in Worcester.

The cask is BBC Imperial Stout
Re: Riccibadault This Thursday (3/25)
that's some delicious stuff in that cask! Looking forward to it.
Re: Riccibadault This Thursday (3/25)
Do they serve "real" beer there yet or just "fruity" ones?

Re: Riccibadault This Thursday (3/25)
Just the gay stuff. Sorry, Louie.
Re: Riccibadault This Thursday (3/25)
I think we might be changing Riccibadault to Riccibadaultgate tonight.

Re: Riccibadault This Thursday (3/25)
Holy crap that was fun last night! The bast part was Duncan trashing his drum set after Baba O'Reilly.
Re: Riccibadault This Thursday (3/25)
HARBORCOAT :)
Re: Riccibadault This Thursday (3/25)
I will critique this show.
Good and talented musicians but the sound was WAY TOO FUCKING LOUD.
End of critique.
Re: Riccibadault This Thursday (3/25)
I think you might be too old for that place Louie, I hear that the Webster House has some great entertainment.
Re: Riccibadault This Thursday (3/25)
joking aside, it does get loud in there and I apologize. We'll be more conscious of it in the future.
Re: Riccibadault This Thursday (3/25)
While I couldn't make it last night (trying to fight off a cold for our gig tomorrow night), and it sounds like it was fun, I have to agree with Louie that nothing ruins the fun quicker than excessive volume.
We've been guilty of it ourselves. Well, Ed has anyway. :-)
Re: Riccibadault This Thursday (3/25)
I don't think the volume was 'excessive'...but was a bit on the loud side. I just chalked it up to coming from band practice, my ears where already tired.
Pretty tough balance to strike though...you still need to be heard, and there is a bigger crowd every time I go.
