I still have that Sound City 120 head. The homemade 4x12 cabinet (loaded w/ Radio Shack 12" speakers) is still in my garage. I think the Pignose is somewhere in the house too.
Sadly, my '69 Econoline E300 Supervan, the Traynor YB1-A, and the '74 SG have all moved on.
<p>I'm sure that little cooler was also full of beer. It's funny, I don't remember ever being a Michelob drinker, and one of my little tricks was always to leave a roll of duct or gaffers tape on my amp head (note that it is present but empty) to keep my beer from vibrating or tipping over into the head, so that may have been someone else's beverage?
I really miss that van though. Had me some darn good times in that baby. Ex-phone company truck painted battleship gray, and with the yellow revolving flasher still mounted on top when I got it. Really sexy. LOL.

It's a boy Mrs. Walker, it's a boy...
Re: John Donovan *&^@ Rocks
what were you using that Pignose for?
Re: John Donovan *&^@ Rocks
Sometimes I used it as an additional preamp in front of the Sound City.
Re: John Donovan *&^@ Rocks
This may be the greatest image of rock I have ever seen in my life!

Re: John Donovan *&^@ Rocks
after looking at this photo today I realized that this just had to be done.

Re: John Donovan *&^@ Rocks
Look at that skinny legged bastard! I wanna be in a band with him! Rock Ooooooon!
Re: John Donovan *&^@ Rocks
I wish I was still that skinny.
I'd whip you all at Twister!
Re: John Donovan *&^@ Rocks
the michelob atop the amp is perfect.
the lamented sg is a painful reminder of family relics that have departed:
vintage chris-craft. vintage wooden old town canoe.
i'm gonna go have a good cry.

It could carry an ungodly amount of equipment.
