Online Musical Instrument Retailers

Where do you guys shop online for musical instruments.

Here are a some that I have bought from, I am curious to hear where you all shop online.

www.zzounds.com

www.musiciansfriend.com - www.guitarcenter.com

www.interstatemusic.com

www.music123.com

I have had a perfectly good experience with all of them. Nothing beats checking out an instrument like a guitar or drum in person but for accessories, electronics and keyboards, I have a hard time with physical stores because they so often don't stock what I want or they don't have the right price.

every time.

Also, the Twister Group for a CAD mic I bought recently. Best price anywhere (25 bucks less than Musician's Friend, WITH the shockmount and a cable)

Lastly, I sometimes shop at my online-bud's store http://www.theperfectbass.com/

for accessories...when I finally drop big coin on a new bass, that's where it'll be done.

 Sometimes froogle is your friend.

yeah Craiglist is great, I have search RSS feeds in my feedreader that I check all day long but classifieds aren't really what I was talking about.

Well, I have used Musicians Friend in the past to buy equipment, but nowadays I use either CL or just buy locally. There's an upright bass I've had my eyes on at Ed's Fiddle Shop in East Brookfield for a while now!

From what I've seen, all of these sites have nearly identical prices and inventory, so I guess it really comes down to customer service?

I got a great deal at wwbw on some monitors some time ago...their clearance section is worth keeping tabs on.

For me, most of the online retailers have the same stuff at the same prices, so I will look for the shipping offers.

music123 has always done well by me.

I'm with Ron, American Musical is usually my first pick. I once ordered a Line6 POD dent and scratch, I received it in two days. When I tried it out it was buzzing so I called AM, they immediately sent another one which I received the following day and they paid for the return shipping. I have been a fan ever since.
