March 12th the "screw duncan show" Grafton Inn. Crybabies...

Bees Knees, The Crybabies and Lawrence Lavallee.

Yes it's true. Rogers cousin needed a good excuse to not go to that "other" show so he is playing the famous and historic Grafton Inn. As usual, all ages, $5.00 cover, full bar(21+ w/ proper ID to drink), doors at 9pm and I guarantee that Duncan will not be there...that alone is worth the price of admission.

wow this was un-called for:!:

If you want to compete here with shows. Maybe a little who's the better promoter? Just say the word punk.

You were the one who booked a show opposite mine just to spite me. Bring it on mister ;-)

Are you going to go around to every place that is having a show on March 12 and do the same?

I think that The Curtain Society, The Deadites and Giraffe is a solid bill. I'm not too worried.

See, now this is the good stuff. I will be going to the Duncan show, the cab ride is cheaper. Although I have seen all the Duncan bands 8,767,422 times and have never seen The Crybabies.

It's even cheaper when you hitch a ride! I don't even charge for gas money ;-)

What a strange thing it would be to bookend my trip with Bee's Knees shows.

I think maybe you should outline the two shows Barry.

I started to, but I felt bad because March 12 at Ralph's was so much more fun.

I hope everyone goes to the Grafton Inn for your show.

Be sure to tip Barry at the door. Literally, tip him over, he will be drinking heavily this day.

Boys, boys, you really shouldn't be fighting over competing shows scheduled on my birthday. One big show at the DCU Center would have sufficed.

Wow, it happens to be my Mum's birthday that day too, and she never was a fan of bickering....what with 3 kids and all. So please, a big hug for me Mum's sake.

Barry I am going to cash that check you mailed me tomorrow. Make sure the funds are in there. Then and only then will I "keep quiet".

I don't know what this means.

Let's take a look at the Ralphs show.

Giraffe...a band with no songs. The second best songwriter in the city is in the band and you have no songs. pathetic.

The Deadites... an overweight semi-pro wrestler trying to sing over 1980's new wave/techno music as the band dresses up in strange outfits to distract the crowd from their lack of originality and talent..
Look how much effort it takes to bore me.

The Curtain Society... nothing bad to say here. in fact, you could go to the Grafton Inn show, leave at 11:30 when it's done, and STILL see their entire set.

Sounds like a plan...see you at the Grafton Inn March 12th. 9pm.

If I don't turn 21 soon then I am going to hang myself.

Hey guys check out this picture I took of Barry yesterday when I met him at the Silvertone so he could beg me to cancel our show. I said "no way Barry, we booked this thing months ago and we are all looking forward to playing. It's a great bill and you should just reschedule your Grafton Inn show."

You can go either 122 south or 146 south. So in a nut shell, it's south of Worcester.

I think Duncan and I can agree that it's a good thing to have to choose between two great shows and that if you take any of the volcanoboy/wormtown crowd out of the equasion, these shows appeal to a very different audience. I hope the weather doesn't screw up either show but if there is a doubt, The Grafton Inn has rooms for rent ;-)

Ralph's shares a parking lot with the Courtyard Marriott.

Just so you know.

Just as an aside, it is John Donovan's birthday on Saturday night. I have a feeling the birthday boy will be in Grafton, but I bet it would be nice if we celebrated at both places in honor of the great JD.

I want to see John dancing like a maniac to The Deadites on Saturday!

it is also Tiny Wight's birthday

How was the "screw duncan show"?

Re: March 12th the "screw duncan show" Grafton Inn. Crybabies...

Great, thanks. We had a nice crowd and we fought through the technical difficulties. The Crybabies were great, as was Laurence Lavallee.

Lots of fun.

That is good to hear, despite Barry's personal attack, you know I love you guys.

Barry on the other hand can suck and egg.
