Thanks for the tip, the C-Fest was a good time. The storm cleared, leaving hot, hot sun; the crowd was good: maybe 500; lots of chili from local and distant restaurants, as well as a number of enthusiastic individuals; decent, cold beers on tap; great set by the Bee's Knees.
On the flip side, the event could have featured more to do, and vendors could have prepared more chili (several booths ran out of chili within the first two hours.
Combine the chili with other types of delicious food, provide more arts displays, performances, vendors, and activities, and go eco-friendly and you've got a killer festival!
