Dude, just as I openned this, that top commercial came on, and yeah, it is annoying and yes trendy, but just another in a long line of the product is secondary type marketing campaigns...prolly because the product just isn't that good to begin with.

Along the same lines, how many damn ringtone commercials do there have to be?

Seriously, if I wanted Akon's Don't Matter song or the new Linkin Park, I definitely wouldn't buy it as a ringtone for the same price I could get it on iTunes...I'd buy the song and convert it.
