I dig The Greyhound Pub aka An Cu Liath they have some incredibly fine Irish Whiskeys there. The good stuff isn't cheap, but it is served well (i.e. a healthy on the rocks portion). Every time I go in there something funny happens. One time a big guy I've never met pulled me from my table to dance to Frank Sinatra with me and said something to Derek like, "I'm just gonna borrow her for a minute." or "You should learn how to dance." Hillarious.
Add to that, I usually have a pretty good time with the guys playing too...that should be nice. :)
All done with nice.
Re: Bee's Knees/Scott Riciutti @ Grey Hound Pub - Sat April 28th
Plus, I can walk home from there...that scores major points.
Re: Bee's Knees/Scott Riciutti @ Grey Hound Pub - Sat April 28th
Great place. HUGE selection of Irish Whiskey. On top of Fanny's story I was once in there with a buddy and his girlfriend and there was a genuine Irish singalong in there. At least there was between said buddy's girl and some old dude. I've never had a less then stellar time there.

Re: Bee's Knees/Scott Riciutti @ Grey Hound Pub - Sat April 28th
Excellent. We may be encouraging a little audience participation.
Re: Bee's Knees/Scott Riciutti @ Grey Hound Pub - Sat April 28th
Regarding audience participation, and in the interest of full disclosure:
There is a chance that Mike may not be able to attend this performance. In that even, be prepared for Bee's Knees power trio, and our version of Kelley Square Idol.
We still guarantee a splendid time for all.
Re: Bee's Knees/Scott Riciutti @ Grey Hound Pub - Sat April 28th
I could deal with a night of Ed songs and Monkees covers, perhaps a Who tune or two......
Re: Bee's Knees/Scott Riciutti @ Grey Hound Pub - Sat April 28th
Monkee's covers...I'm in!
Re: Bee's Knees/Scott Riciutti @ Grey Hound Pub - Sat April 28th

Re: Bee's Knees/Scott Riciutti @ Grey Hound Pub - Sat April 28th
I guess I am going to get fired from every band I am in now.
Re: Bee's Knees/Scott Riciutti @ Grey Hound Pub - Sat April 28th
Not a chance. It was somewhat terrifing to realize how many of our songs you actually sing.
Although I must say, I did a dead-on impersonation of you on several occasions.
But I'm taller. Any waaaayyyyy older.
Re: Bee's Knees/Scott Riciutti @ Grey Hound Pub - Sat April 28th
So sad that I missed this! That's what I get for working too hard and not paying attention to the finer things in life. See you around soon I'm sure, and I'm looking forward to a new record whenever that may be.
On the subject of Monkees covers, the last time I heard you guys do "You Just May Be The One", I got weak in the knees. Really. I almost had to sit down. Long live the Nez!
