Our acoustic performance from WAAF last Sunday is up online HERE. Click on the link that says "Nice Things."
We had a pretty cool instrumentation going on for the night, with keys, multiple guitars, lots of hand percussion, and 6 vocalists. So check it out.
And on a related note, we'll be doing an electric set on WBCN, this Sunday 11/18.
I don't think your band is very good.
Re: The Luxury on WAAF
I did not hear the whole thing, but Seven Stories was fantastic. I do recomend giving this a listen.
Re: The Luxury on WAAF

Have you ever really listened to them? That "Keep it Together" album is near perfect. I think they are tremendously underrated.
Re: The Luxury on WAAF
i was just joking.
i'm not a fan of guster though i have friends who are, including a bandmate.
Re: The Luxury on WAAF
seriously, I think they put out some incredible stuff, whether your acoustic performance is representative of your full blown sound, I don't know...but the acoustic stuff had a very guster type feel.
But you can feel free to bust a SVT over my head next time we meet mr pez :)
Re: The Luxury on WAAF
I mean, I TOTALLY understand all the Oasis comparisons that we get, but Guster's a new one for us. I know what you were getting at, though. Now the REM comparisons we keep getting don't make ANY sense to me. (Mainly, because I never would have joined any band that reminded me at all of REM.)
And Duncan, I've definitely seen Guster live. I think one of my old bands opened up for them many years ago. Did absolutely nothing for me. Do they use drums now? Because that might make a difference.
