“The Third Annual Colleges of Worcester Consortium Show” – a juried exhibition

College Show Opening Reception: February 9, 2007 from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. Free and open to the public and will feature refreshments and music.

“Third Annual Colleges of Worcester Consortium Show” is a juried group exhibition culled from among emerging student artists of the Worcester Consortium and will include works in mixed media, photography, fiber, works on paper, sculpture, and painting. This exhibition, which began in 2005, highlights the wealth of artistic talent that exists within the local college community. Institutions participating include Anna Marie College, Assumption College, Clark University, College of the Holy Cross, Quinsigamond Community College, and Worcester State College. This exhibition is sponsored in part by the Colleges of Worcester Consortium and is free and open to the public.

Works for the show will be chosen by jurors including Susan Stoops of the Worcester Art Museum. Prizes will be awarded: 1st Prize of $250, 2nd Prize of $150; and two Jurors’ Honorable Mentions. For more information on the Colleges of Worcester Consortium website
