Re: Al Arsenault

To Debbie, Duncan, Charlene and the whole Arsenault family my condolences. I had the pleasure to meet Al on several occasions and he was truly a wonderful person. I also had the chance to see him play with his son and Steve Mossberg which was a very special and moving moment, he will be missed.

Re: Al Arsenault

I am completely sad about this but incredibly happy to know I got to spend time and meet a man like Al. Growing up in the Wonder Bar his name was always at the top of the list of any local jazz and blues musician around. He is a local Icon in music and for all the right reasons. My deepest condolences to Duncan and all of his family.

Really sorry to hear this Duncan. My condolences to you & your family. As i read this i am listening to a track by Melvin Sparks who your dad told me he played with on occasion. It was a pleasure to know him and also play a couple sets with him as well.

Re: Al Arsenault

My condolences to Duncan and the Arsenault family. Losing a parent is never easy. Back in the 90s I spent quite a few Sundays chowing down at Tammany Hall and watching Al play that keyboard that was strapped on like a guitar. Most times he had an ear to ear grin. Any one who knew him should consider themselves blessed to know someone who was so happy to be doing what they were doing. God bless.

Re: Al Arsenault

Thanks everyone for all the support. Thanks Chet Williamson for writing such a nice article on my father in the Worcester Magazine too.

My family and I are planning a big Blues jam in honor of Al. If you are someone that my father played with and would like to be a part of this please contact me at - We are trying to contact as many musical friends of Al's as we possibly can.

It's going to be a great day of Blues music.
