Ive tried to update my avatar and it won't accept it . It tells me to click save and nothing happens.

interesting, what browser are you in? I currently have a plugin that uploads and then shows you the image before you save.
Is it a large image? It does get resized.
If you dont feel like dealing with this nonsense, feel free to send me your avatar and I will set it to your account.

Every time I browse to an avatar file it doesn't get pulled into the edit field. Tried to input the file name manually and it blanked it.
Browser is IE 7.0

I will look in to what is going on, it is apparently a browser problem since many users are able to upload a picture. I disabled a couple features that may be incompatible with IE (which I don't recommend as a browser btw).
Please let me know if you continue to have problems. I try my best to test everything cross platform and multi browser but I am only one guy.

Not working for me. Firefox on a Mac. It is telling me it is saving, but it is no where to be found...

Interesting, I just tested changing the avatar on this account in FF on Mac and it appears to have worked. The only thing that was clunky was I had to refresh to have it appear. FF and this site have aggressive caching that sometimes makes changes like this not apparent.
try holding down shift and refreshing and see if it is in fact there.
If that doesn't work. Maybe check off the the "delete picture" checkbox which will remove all your avatars, then try uploading a fresh one.
