I like living in the future and all but I don't think that this harmony processor sounds very good. Interesting concept though, worth keeping an eye on.
Boy those harmonies sound so good that you almost forget how atrocious the acoustic guitar sounds.
I can see this pedal being used in the corner of every sports bar, hotel bar and probably Irish Times by the end of the summer.
The concept is cool, in a way. It does kind of make me think that eventually there will be a processor (by the way, that's got to be a Toronto accent, eh?) that will also make your guitar sound like you're playing the right chords, and soon after that there will be another box with a USB-3.0 jack which will use your computer to actually write the songs for you in real time. Shortly after that someone will remember that they can just plug in an Ipod, hard drive, or a relic CD Player into the PA and not worry about hiring a musician.
That will truly be a sad day for us musicians. Not because we will be out of a gig, but because there'd be no incentive to just sit at the bar all night and snicker and whisper to your friends how bad ol' Jimmy McMacintosh is screwing up the lyrics to "Like a Rolling Stone" and how you saw his crappy guitar on sale in the Musician's Friend catalog for $99 last month. That's always a lot of fun.
Re: Guitar Pedal Clones Singers into Backup Singers
Sure that all well and fine but what about guys like me who constantly hit wrong chords on the guitar? I bet that would sound wonderful!
