Thank you to everyone for an AMAZING night last night at Bocado. The presentations were phenomenal, the crowd awesome...what a good time. We're looking forward to the next one in August/September...keep your eyes peeled.
Thanks again to the presenters for taking time out to put together some inspiring/hilarious/thought-provoking displays. You're all the best.
Re: Pecha Kucha last night
I have so many things that I want to say about last night, where to begin . . . First, it was great to see so many people I knew from the area attending this event, but even better, there were a lot of new faces who were excited about what was going on. The presenters were fascinating, their ability to give us insight to their work, what motivates and inspires them. All of these artists had a wonderful sense of humor about either their work, or the process in which the work comes to be. I left with a great sense of pride, that might sound strange, but I was proud of Worcester, it's artists, and of people like Cindy, Scott and Michelle who worked so hard to make it happen. Hey, even the founders of Pech Kucha pronounced Worcester correctly when addressing the room via a video feed. I guess that's it . . . Nice work everyone!

Yes, I agree, Tina. Great event. I was floored by the amount of people. Exceeded my expectations.

It was a joy to see Pecha Kucha come together last night - what an outpouring of creative juice!
Re: Pecha Kucha last night
Thank you to everyone who came out for this!
I am very proud of each of the presenters for their thoughtful, insightful, and funny takes about what they do.
I enjoyed the perspective of the evening from the front of the room and even though I had to be bop in and out I was able to really take in the entire vibe. What was very satisfying to me was while listening to the presenters I could see the captivated faces looking up at them:
Cheering on the presenters for their accomplishments.
Laughing along with them over Odd Noggins, Creature Double Feature, and Toilets with water fountains.
In awed of Adoniram's black and white photography and the quiet inspiration in his philosophy.
Being Fired up during the break
Eveyones smiles as they were leaving
Not only did the presenters knock this event out of the park but the audience did too! Thank you for being so great!
Afterward, as I pulled into my driveway I realized that this is what I have been looking for for a long time, what I have truly been missing in my community. A forum were people can relax, enjoy, share ideas and get inspired. For this to happen in my community I am extremely grateful.

Re: Pecha Kucha last night
A big huge thank you to everyone who presented, volunteered and to those who attended. We were so excited to bring Pecha Kucha to Worcester. I felt so empowered on my drive to work this morning, like I had one up on the world........to have heard from eight amazing voices, of insight, of process, of personal expectations and aspirations. Thinking, last night I felt like I was in my living room with friends.
Thank you to everyone for jumping on this morning and giving kudos to the kucha! woo hoo pecha kucha #2!
