Hi everyone, I am putting together a show (with help from several wonderful people) to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as part of my Team in Training goals. The show will take place on May 8th at the Lucky Dog. The line up isn't quite set, but we are working on it and will be promoting soon.
I am hoping to run a raffle at the event as well and I would really appreciate any donations that anyone can offer. If you are able to donate please contact me at linneasheldon@hotmail.com or here at Worcesterite. Thanks so much everyone!

Re: Request for donations
I only post because I was sad to see your entreaty drop to the bottom of the "Active Topic" list without a single reply.
Typical Liberals, they only want to "give" when they can get double back.
I won't be there (obviously), but I'll forward the info. to people who may very well show up.
Good luck.
Re: Request for donations
L, sounds great. Let me know how I can help. Am at the Emporium (pretty much any week day). Would love to donate some product for a raffle. Keep up the great work, Stu Esty AKA the "Good Doctor"

Re: Request for donations
Thanks for the bump Link!
Mr. Mashman I would love some product for the raffle! Your creations were one of the top prizes offered at the Punkystyle Clothing Swap Raffle, so anything that helps sell tickets is okay by me. The event is May 8th, and I've been meaning to stop by and pick up some product for myself (at Tom Buckley's urging). Please let me know when a convenient time for you would be and I'll be sure to be there.
Thanks so much!"

Again all the proceeds will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, it's a great cause and all donations are welcome!

Re: Request for donations
Good luck with the race, I'll send a donation your way this weekend. If there's anything I can do to help you out with the show(take money at the door, sell raffle tix, put up posters, etc) let me know.
Re: Request for donations
Thanks Marc, I will definitely let you know if I need any help. I'm getting really nervous now, having pneumonia for a month really put a damper in my training schedule, but I'm determined. I may crawl across the finish line, but either way I'm gonna cross it!
Re: Request for donations
Been there in a couple of races myself, it's amazing how much energy you get when you hear those footsteps behind you getting closer.
Re: Request for donations
I don't think there are going to be any footsteps behind me at this point, but we'll see!
I have several raffle prizes from local artists and crafters, as well as Worcester Local First donations, looks like this is gonna be a local raffle all the way! If anyone else can help please contact me, thanks so much!
