Ok Worcesterites here it is .
The 2nd Homemade Instrument Challenge.
This one will be...
Sunday March 21st
2-6pm
At "The Q"
And this time it's ALL AGES !!!!!!!!!!
So fire up the neurons and synapses and show us what you can build . There are only a couple of rules so here they are.
1. The instrument must be made by you . You can pre buy parts and tuners and necks and strings etc , but you must assemble them into your instrument.
2. You must be able to perform a song on the instrument.
3. Those are the only rules otherwise anything goes !
I'm still brainstorming about the format of the evening so any input is appreciated. I liked the 50/50 challenge idea Matt had last week but more info will follow.

I'll be bringing a washtub bass , canjo and a couple lunch box instruments and cigar box guitars . I'll be showing how to build a guitar and how to wire it with a pick-up.
Don't forget about the challenge on January 3rd 09 !

I had a really fun time yesterday !
And one highlight was learning about the "Atari Punk Console" from Jonathan Wolf. All I can say is "Look Out" for my Homemade instrument for this challenge .
