Shitty news for East Coast Red Sox fans
So TBS has the rights to the playoffs and has decided on scheduling the Red Sox/Angels game to start at 10pm eastern time on Wednesday, 9:30 on Friday. Really? Great news for all the kids who want to watch the Sox. I am sure lots of parents will be fine with their kids staying up until 1am to watch. Once again, it's all about the cash and not about the fans.

That is the same time west coast games start all year long, playoffs or not.
Are you saying that California fans want the games to start at 4pm PST so they can start at 7EST out here so that the East Coast folks can be in bed by 11?
MLB games pretty much always start at 7:05pm during the week in the home city. And yes that translates into a 10pm start out here.
All the more reason for the Sox to end the series quick and only make one trip out west.

its the same with monday night football... they have to cater to the whole country. besides its only 2 games.
i do think they could have done it at 9 / 930 though and not had much of an issue.
i personally totally prefer the 10pm game-time though. 10pm is like just when i stop running around doing stuff and finally get to relax.

I'm not opposed to a 10pm start either. Crystal goes to bed by 10:30 or so and I get to watch the game without feeling like I monopolized our whole night with sports!

yeah, but how is that any different then the last 4-5 years?
The bats are gonna have to come up big. I don't think we are gonna get any 2-1, 3-1, wins in Anaheim, if any.
If we win this series, it's gonna be with scores of 10-6, 8-5, etc.

i dont know... ive liked this offense all year...
look at the #s. the sox had a very good offense this year despite the injuries etc... in fact i think one of the best.
if any team can step it up and get clutch hits it is the sox... they are the posterchildren of the term "gamer"...
they have to get on base though... this is the true test. can they operate when the stage is huge?
guys like lowrie, bay etc seem like they havent REALLY proven it to us yet... despite looking like they have the makeup.
im really interested in those two in particular... well ok.. add ellsbury to that mix. i fell like one of those 3 (my guess is lowrie) is going to come up big.
