I don't know how many (if any) of you have been following the campaign/convention, etc., but I figured I'd post anyway.
This thread is a first-person account of last nights aborted "riot".

Nothing says "Freedom" like a sack of piss, apparently.
These protestors seem to be losing steam over the last few years. Presumably these are the same groups (if not the same people) who were in Boston, Montreal, Seattle, etc. when the part-time "anarchists" made such messes. It was a lot funnier when they were dancing around in giant puppet suits. All this feces/urine/screaming/spraypainting garbage lacks entertainment value.

It is funny that people preaching PEACE resort to violence... People love to cause mayham and sometimes do it without knowing what they are standing for. Call it being young.

Young people and developmentally challenged adults make up the bulk of the crowds I've seen. Most have zero clue what they're demonstrating for/against. 90% of the college-agers at the DNC are there to smoke pot and get some "riot" video for Youtube, but the 40-50 year olds running around with bare chests and greasy hair should know better.

Looks like last night was pretty quiet in Denver. Either that or the bloggers haven't woken up and started posting yet. I did see a big mosque that some pro-Iranian group erected (it's made of cloth) in a park. That's gotta be a first.

Hahaha. I thought it was very much in line with what the Democratic party has regurgitated since Bill left them.
He was their last best hope.
