Okay, well I'm in.... again. Sounds fun.
I assume these instruments only use 3 dollar piezo elements for pickups, so that's an easy hurdle, well, actually the hardest hurdle of the whole deal....the other being a quality 2x4.

The beard contest, culminates on stage at a nightclub for judging as well as a performance from the newly formed Homemade Band. The contest is open to the public, $5 entry, winner take all, judged on a yet to be named criteria.

Didn't Bob Jordon do something like that, or may hooked up with someone who did that in the mid-late '80s? The instruments, that is, not the beards.

I think you are right about Bob doing something like that. I am sure the idea isn't new, but the domain was available so I bought it.
